the WEDDING WOULD BE BLISS, but the MAGNITUDE OF FOREVER was weighing MORE DESIRABLY on THEIR HEARTS
There is something in Lauren's eyes
Watching her prepare for the day, I noticed her quiet excitement. She didn't appear to be nervous as her hair was spun into curls. She didn't chatter with anxious energy while her mom and sister buttoned her into the gown . . .
Sure and steadfast
In every new second I spent with her, I was more overcome by her calming reverence towards the moment before her. Surrounded by a family who lives by the law of unconditional love and unwavering faith, I could sense that although excited to celebrate her and Howard's journey together, she was focused on the promise of tomorrow and every day thereafter.
Good fellas, and great family.
On a day when the groom garners almost as much attention as the bride, I found Howard was trying to focus his energy on his groomsmen, family, and making sure everything was as Lauren wanted it to be. Pocket squares. Ties. Photos. Time. In every move and detail, he thought lovingly of her.
The entire church was buzzing with joyous anticipation.
As Lauren + Howard began the traditions of the ceremony, it was as satisfying to the heart as warm soup is for the soul. Their reception was no different: charming mouse ears (and laughs!) were abundant during the celebration, a nod to the Disney-loving-smile-inducing-kick-you-in-the-shins-adorable pair.
